Atlantic Gallery is pleased to present Cosmos, a solo exhibition of paintings by Phyllis Chillingworth.
The paintings express an essence of freedom found in life and embody her personal perceptions and moods evident in the range of passages and scenes. The Cosmos is presented as a metaphor for a unified statement of wonders and intimate views and of past and present journeys of perception and memory.
Phyllis Chillingworth lives in New York City and Montauk, NY. She earned a B.S. from The Institute of Design, Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago and a B.F.A./M.F.A. from The Yale School of Art & Architecture.
Phyllis has studied with Ophrah Shemesh in NYC and at Visual Arts Italy, Gaeta, Italy.
