American Prayer Flags

Artist Carol Taylor-Kearney mines messages in found objects. Previously, she had made art works from found windows and doors. Her current exhibition of American Prayer Flags she is using worn American flags, canvases with mixed media, and wooden frames holding multiple glass panes with decals, stickers, and colored glass. Most of the materials she uses are leftovers from other projects, gifts from friends, and scraps she has collected.
