Michael Shores and Angela Mark are a real life husband and wife team as well as being artistic collaborators will be exhibiting their joint and solo works at the Atlantic Gallery.

This split “one man” show will feature the couple’s wildly colorful and imaginative paintings. The exhibition titled “Strange and Beautiful Creatures” mixes fantasy, social commentary as well as work of a psychosexual nature created in the pair’s unique brand of modern surrealism.

Since their meeting in 1981 Michael and Angela have collaborated on drawings, collages, paintings as well as the influential art magazine, “American Living.” They are also musical partners who occasionally perform with their group Two Eyes.

“We do it all and try to have fun along the way,” states Shores. The two certainly seem to be living “happily creatively ever after.”
